PLEASING DANCE SCHOOL OF BALLET.

Pleasing Dance School of Ballet was estabilshed in 1998 by Principle Jo Wellings since which it has
delivered fun and imaginative classes based on the Royal Academy of Dance
syllabi to very many boys and girls of all ages.

We believe this course of classical ballet gives a student an all-round
education, consisting of three interrelated elements -
 1. Technique
 2. Music
 3. Performance.
Additionally it helps to instill individual expression and artistry which
often carries over into their normal lives.

Pleasing Dance School of Ballet becomes greatly appreciated by anyone who
wishes to experience the joy of movement.

Pleasing Dance School of Ballet has excellent results achieved by students
 in their examinations.

Presentation classes are held at the end of each term when parents and
families / guests are encouraged to watch their child's progress and
 achievements.

Students are also active in Theatre productions.

Students participate in yearly exams at the Royal Academy of Dance.

You will be informed when your child is ready for an exam and given the option to submit their entry.

Only students showing the correct standard required may be entered. It is the teachers decision when to enter the children.

Exams are not compulsory but an optional addition to the classes.

The Principal of the school is a registered mentor for students enrolled on the Royal Academy of Dance teaching programmes.Throughout the year we have student teachers from these programmes placed at the school.

We also provide sudents for examiner courses and teaching exams at the Royal Academy of Dance.
